Binary People

They perceive the world as totally black or white,
All those shades of grey, they filter off their sight.
They judge your actions as either wrong or right,
They lack the empathy to understand your plight.

It makes no difference, if you're family or friend,
You're coldly alienated, the minute you condescend.
They give you no chance to defend or amend,
For no mortal soul, shall their brittle rules bend.

They appear as harsh, like they're boorish and dreary,
More often than not, their apathy is involuntary.
Their idealistic views have made them reactionary,
Thus, shrinking their perspective to strictly binary.

Mat Karo Munni ko Badnaam

Mat karo aur Munni ko tum badnaam,
Hone toh do bechaari Sheila ko jawaan,
Sambhaal ke rakho apna awaara Tinku jiya,
Varna ban nahi sakoge tum kisi ke piya.

Nahi kar paaoge tum Sheila ki Jawaani ko handle,
Jab padegi tere sar par uski jooti aur sandal.
Kaam na aayega phir Munni ka Zandu Balm,
Jab maar khaa ke mohalle mein ho jaaoge badnaam.

Sudhaar lo apni aadatein aur ban jaao ladke Good,
Bano mat tum Dabangg, mat karo aur hudd-hudd,
Warna shareer mein tumhaare chhed honge itne,
Ki hawa ke entry-exit par sawaal lagenge uthne.

The Solitary Weeper

"Laugh, and the world laughs with you,
Weep, and you weep alone."
She believed these lines to be so true,
That, In solitude she chose to mourn.

Buried in her heart for ages,
Her sorrows started taking their toll.
They refused to be trapped in cages,
They became a burden on her soul.

Exhausted by the stress of her woes,
She was drifting away from reality.
Unable to control their violent blows,
Her emotions started indenting her sanity.

Her condition was labeled as depression,
She became unstable and untamed.
Compassion for her was out of question,
Her erratic behavior was to be blamed.

Doctors, Saints and Astrologers,
From distant lands were called.
Several hymns were chanted,
Many prescriptions scrawled.

In her babble, that the world ignored,
She liberated her emotional anxiety.
Having all her worries out-poured,
She was able to restore her sanity.

She continues to laugh with the world,
Yet, at times, in depression she goes.
Her condition is not understood by the world,
For till date, In solitude she mourns.

Andaaz apna apna Zamaane ko dikhana hai

Hum tum Jab we met Jaanemann,
Tere naam, Hum dil de chuke sanam.
Dil tera deewana, Jaane tu ya jaane na,
Aao pyaar karen, Tum haseen main jawaan.

Tere sanng Darling, Pyaar to hona hi tha,
Khoobsurat Yahaan, Tumsa nahin dekha.
Ziddi Jaanam samjha karo, Maine pyar kiya,
Jeena marna tere sang, Yeh vaada raha.

Rehna hai tere dil mein, Sanam teri kasam,
Love you hamesha, Tumko naa bhool paayenge Hum.
Dewaana mujhsa nahin, Dhoondte reh jaaoge Duplicate.
Mere mehboob  Apna bana lo, Hum tere aashiq hain Ek.

Kya love story hai, Ajab prem ki ghazab kahaani,
Saathiya Tum bin, Dil hai ke manta nahin.
Akele hum akele tum, Rab ne bana di Jodi,
Maine dil tujhko diya, Mujhse shaadi karogi?

"Andaaz apna apna Zamaane ko dikhana hai,
Rok sako toh rok lo, Waqt hamara hai.
Khel khel mein Hote hote pyaar ho gaya,
Haan maine bhi pyaar kiya, Pyaar kiya toh darna kya?"

Fear of the Known

For all those years we’ve been together,
I knew we’d part ways, one way or another.
But I had the audacity to dream of a life,
A life We’d spend together, without any strife.

But now that fate has torn us apart,
Why is it so difficult for me to depart?
Why is there anxiety, why does my heart pain?
Why do I feel like a part of me is slain?

I shall cherish forever, those moments we spent,
I can’t help but remember, all those times you gave me strength.
But I have to let you go, for now you’re not my own,
I have to face this fear, this fear of being left alone.

I was given a choice, of spending my life with you,
But I let my fears conquer,  I chose to abandon you.
I’m haunted night and day, by dreams I've had blown,
For I cannot face reality, I am captured by the fear of the known.

Texas Hold 'em Poker

This is my last hand today and then i'm done,
I've played enough, had more than my share of fun.
I'm now "Pro*500K", that's a fact and not fiction,
If I don't stop now, this game will become an addiction.

The "flop" has opened, I have a King pair.
Looks like I am gonna win, let me raise the bar.
I hit the raise button, I've bet a solid 10K.
Everyone's placed their bets, the pot already has 75K.

The "turn" opened up to reveal an 8 of spades,
Now i have a pair of Kings and another of eights,
Two-pair, not that bad, let's bet some more,
If i win this hand, I'll be a million dollar pro.

Finally, the "river" revealed another eight card,
If I don't bet on a "Full house", I must be a retard.
In that moment of insanity, I bet 70K "All in",
That boils down the equation to everything or nothing.

My victory or loss is left to ur imagination,
To be honest poker is one big addiction,
I'm glad that i have come out of it clean,
May be cause the new ranking system is shitty and boring.
